This level is designed for students who are studying Spanish for the first time. This once a week course will help you create a solid foundation in Spanish, providing the stepping stones of Spanish grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and every-day usage. By the end of this course, students will be able to ask and answer simple questions and hold simple conversations in present tense.
This level is designed for students who have completed beginner 1 once a week or the equivalent according to our placement test. Students will continue to build their oral, written and listening skills while expanding their vocabulary and developing greater fluency. By the end of the course students will be able to communicate effectively in common situations of every-day life using the present tense and the immediate future tense.
This level is designed for students who have completed beginners 2 once a week or the equivalent according to our placement test. Students will concentrate on oral skills, as well as fluency and pronunciation. Questions with prepositions, connectors, Irregular verbs and the progressive present tense will be learned.
This course is tailored to those who already have a basic knowledge in the language, either from travelling or from previous studies, and would like an opportunity to practice their conversation skills and improve on what they already know. Using a more empirical approach, an instructor will facilitate situations that emulate real and casual conversations as if they were happening in a Spanish-speaking country.
This level is designed for students who have completed beginners 3 once a week or the equivalent according to our placement test. The emphasis of this course is to enhance the student’s ability to communicate by expanding their vocabulary and grammar knowledge. At the end of this course students will know most common irregular verbs in present tense and will also learn the simple past tense.
This level is designed for students who have completed intermediate 1 or the equivalent according to our placement test. Students will keep developing their reading and writing skills. By the end of this course students will be familiar with the past tense of irregular verbs, and will also learn to use direct and indirect object pronouns to abbreviate phrases the way native speakers do.
This level is designed for students who have completed intermediate 2 or the equivalent according to our placement test. Students will deepen their grammar understanding by learning reflexive verbs and pronouns, the imperfect past tense, and the perfect tense.
This course is for students who already have a good level of fluidity in the language from extensive traveling and would like an opportunity to practice their conversation skills and improve on what they already know. Students will discuss on different topics ranging from cultural events, Latin American politics, news articles, sports, health, science, art, traveling, and other themes presented by a facilitator.
This level is designed for students who have completed intermediate 3 or the equivalent according to our placement test. Students will keep on expanding their vocabulary while learning the future tense of regular and irregular verbs. They will also learn the conditional tense as well as the use of more complex connectors.
This level is designed for students who have completed Advanced 1 or the equivalent according to our placement test. Students will be taught the more complex structures of Spanish grammar such as the subjunctive mode in the present and past tense, and the perfect past tense. Their vocabulary will be enriched with specific terms according to the themes developed in this course.
This level is designed for students who have completed Advanced 2 or the equivalent according to our placement test. Students will be taught a deeper understanding of the more complex structures of Spanish grammar such as the perfect future tense, the imperative mode. Their fluency will be enriched by learning to connect ideas together, sharing stories and expressing opinions.
